I am an American who made the decision to move abroad in 2012 after finishing my bachelor's degree. It made sense for me, starting new... why not?! Since then, life has happened. I now call Germany my home with my small, lovely family. Upon arriving, and after a year of intensive language lessons, I completed my cabinetmaking apprenticeship. Over the few years to follow, I was able to improve my skills as a designer and woodworker at a couple of different companies. Since furniture was a large piece of what I learned while woodworking, and well, industrial design is such a broad “design,” I decided to narrow my expertise and attend school again. I graduated from Technische Hochschule Rosenheim in 2022 with an M.A. in Furniture Design. Now it is time for me to continue my growth through my own designs, and I hope you will follow along, gathering inspiration for your own ideas...
